Recado às crianças burguesas

Eu quero escrever em inglês, porque acho que não tem coisa mais burguesa do que escrever em inglês.

Bourgeois Children! You must value the good money in your pockets!

Most of you just can't see how rich you and your parents are. I myself almost forgot about it. You may not be genius, but, beside most of the people, you can afford your own education. I believe you all had a good basic education. And what most of you want in common: get into public universities.

I know, in Brazil, they are the best in the market. Their names shine in your future resumé.

It may sound a little cliché, but in all universities, the bases are the same: the students. It is them, not the professors or the organizations themselves that make the good name of the institution.

And who are the students? We all are.

Bourgeois Kids! You may say that's not completely true. You may say that in those public universities there are smarter, more brilliant and more intelligent people. And I may answer you just like like that: "Do you really need brillant people around you to make you shine?"

If you are that brilliant, why don't you prove it to yourself first, instead of willing to prove it to the other brilliant people?

When I look back to the history of brazilian students, I see them going to the strees to fight for things that were worth of a fight. Now, all we have is a bunch of social awared bourgeois youth. They also had existed in the past, and they had disguised themselves at the same time the threw rocks onto students from the old public universities, in accusation of communism.

You may look to that scene in the past and say: "Oh, that was horrible!". But do you really think that the life you all live, maybe the life i'm living, is any better then those scumbags? Most of you complain of a lot of things, like violence, and still, most of you like to smoke pot in front of your colleges. You finance the very violence you all complain about.

But, returning to my point, do you think it is any easier to get a good job with a shinny resumé? It is, indeed. But to stay there... that's a harder task. And, honestly, money will never be a huge problem for us. We have a good home, good food, parents who can finance anything we want. And some are more fortuned for having influent parents. I don't have that luck. But I know I can make it on my own. I'll find a good jog sooner or later. I'm in college, and that's good status. Believe it or not. And I survived all along this way until now, we all did. Believe me, you will survive a little longer until you find a good job.

I have one big luck: parents who can afford me my good education.

People that don't have that luck will have a lot of more problems than us. Most of them are not genius, but they all want the same fortune we had for their children. We all do, I believe. But we can pay for almost anything we want to, and they can't. If fact, we treat stuff like stuff. It's just stuff. Still, rich children, spoiled by society e and your lives, maybe the life I live, you all want to get into public universities. There are a lot of misfortuned people out there, trying millions of times to get into one of these, trying to suply the years of study that the basic education couldn't suply.

Do you know why the public schools have the name they have? I can tell you.

During the military dictatorship in Brazil, the elite decided to increase the quality of the universities, leaving behind the basic education, so there would be more good elite professionals for a better price, since they could afford a good basic education. But the misfortuned people, the major part of the brazilian people, have been suffering since then the impacts of that decision.

These very people sometimes dedicate their lives to get into these public schools, for they have no better choices. Of course, now we have lots for black people, the "pró-uni" project... which can sound to your bourgeois ears badly, but it sure does some real good. Social Inclusion. And that's why I'm writing all this.

CHILDREN! WE ARE SOCIAL INCLUDED! Believe it or not. To be in paid colleges isn't death! We all can pay for that! And lots of them are good! I can pay for the FMU, but I can't to PUC or Mackenzie. I was awful in the ENEM exam, so I couldn't get to those colleges free, and that's not fair at all! But let's face it: who am I to judge? I'm a bourgeois too. A motherfucking social awared bourgeois. We have no right to judge what is fair and what isn't.

You may read this and forget this. Still I beg you for reason: let's at least try to be more awared about it. Maybe some of you will hear me, go to a good paid university, or maybe one that's not that good, but still, do your best and graduate as if had graduated in ITA university. The good name of a bunch of good bourgeois students that lifted up the name of not that good institution. Or a good one. It really doesn't matter. You all, bourgeois kids, you all know that the dices will always roll more for your side, and don't be ashamed about it. Just don't be a motherfucker like anyother bourgeois, ok?

Thanks.

This is madness

Um chute alto,
pesado e brutal.
Talvez essa seja a solução pro seu problema.
[talvez de ambos os lados]
